(IMPORTANT NOTE - Many times, home buyers have gone to a bank directly and obtained a "pre-approval" from the bank. When it came time to process their mortgage however, the clients found that the bank would not honour the "pre-approval" because of technicalities. As a result, the buyers have lost their dream home to other buyers. AVOID THIS, by allowing GO® MORTGAGES™ to obtain a legitimate pre-approval, which includes a written committment, that WILL be honoured for you.)

    The mortgage application process is one of documenting the applicants' assets and liabilities, providing a record of good credit, and demonstrating income stability. The following is a check-list:

• Employment History for Past 3 Years
• Letter from Current Employer - stating position, hours worked, wages paid, length of employment, not on probation
• Copy of Last Pay Stub
• Copy of Previous T-4's
• Residential Address(es) for Past 3 Years
• Gift Letter (if applicable)
• Past 3 Months of Bank Statements (demonstrates source of down payment)
• Different documentation may apply for self-employed individuals
